BookScan Editor Arabic OCR is backed by Sakhr's experience in Natural Language Processing (NLP) which is an integrated technology with OCR and works after the page recognition. Kirtas' Arabic OCR recognizes 15 left to right languages and 5 right to left languages.

JPEG 2000 is now offered as a hardware solution for conversion purposes. Kirtas' JPEG 2000 conversion translates TIFF, JPEG, BMP and other file formats.

BookScan Editor Pro™ gives even richer Optical Character Recognition value as it integrates with ABBYY Fine Reader v8.0. The BSE Pro can handle over 180 OCR languages and also provides enhancements to PDF creation and output for book scanning applications.
